Tamworth water outage: homes cut off from water supply as the council undertakes hydrant and valve maintenance | The Northern Daily Leader

AT LEAST 100 homes in North Tamworth will be without water for hours as the local council undertakes essential water hydrant and valve maintenance. TAFE NSW is among the properties that will go without between 9:30am and 3:30pm, but Oxley High School and the hospital won’t be impacted, a Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) spokesman said. “These properties have been advised of the outage, other properties in the area may experience low pressure,” he said. “The outage will be kept to an absolute minimum and the patience and understanding of residents and businesses during this time is greatly appreciated.” As a result of the works, water could be discoloured or white and businesses and residents are…
